Don’t forget your history test tomorrow! I’m told that it is first period.
Math
- Don’t worry about doing the math. You didn’t get time for it in class, so I don’t think that it’s fair that it becomes homework.
Language/Health
- A reminder that your analysis of “Words Hurt” and “Walk Away” is due on Friday.
- I’ve downloaded a copy of MS Photostory so if you are unable to at home, bring in a memory stick and I will copy it on to there for you.
- Start planning your PSAs. Think about how you can use different camera angles and effects to make your message clear.
- We haven’t decided on a due date yet, we’ll see how things go with the planning and getting started on the software.
QSP Magazine Sales
- I generally don’t like to push fundraising, but apparently we’re not doing as well as last year and we need to do some catch up. Remember that this is the school council’s major fundraising activity and it has paid for things like the playground and its upkeep, lighting and sound equipment, and the laptops that were purchased over the last couple of years.

I’d like you to try out a new tool while I’m working with individual students on their DRA. The My Story Maker tool allows you to build a story in flash and even handles some of the typing for you. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Have you ever made a mixed CD? Ever wanted to put a “real” cover on it? Here’s your chance! Use the CD/DVD creator tool at ReadWriteThink to create a cover for a CD that you would like to make. List at least 10 songs that you want on the CD and add your own artwork. If you need help finding the titles or spelling them correctly, use the Yahoo Kids artists directory. If all of your songs are appropriate for school, I will download them for you from YouTube (at home) and burn them onto a CD. You can add your cover and you’ll be set. Make it look awesome!
